YouLend are one of the fastest growing Fintech’s in the UK. Having reached a particularly impressive ARR, they have been quite uniquely able to reach significant scale with minimal external funding. Their embedded finance is used by global marketplaces & e-commerce business & is truly disrupting the Fintech space, building customer oriented products.

Why did they need to use us?

Now almost 200 people, they were looking for their first Product Leader to take ownership of Product Management within the business from their founding team & to establish a Product org and set up processes as they look to scale further.

What did Propel do?

Working closely with the leadership team to understand the both the technical & cultural fit for this role to find the right individual to scale this function. We mapped the market’s of the B2B lending & e-commerce/ Marketplace industries in the UK to provide a diverse pool of candidates.

The Results

We provide shortlist with a variety of senioritis, ranging from Senior individual contributors looking to take their first step into leadership to proven Product leaders that have scaled product functions time & time again. The individual who landed was a former CPO of a B2B lending start-up London who set up & scaled their product org through rounds of funding.
