Enable, a B2B SaaS solution for the Retail sector had recently closed their Series B funding, bringing their total investment to $60m and were looking to mature their organisation structure and leadership as they looked to scale internationally.

Why did they need to use us?

As Enable continue in their growth, they have ambitious targets of international expansion and needed to scale & structure their Engineering teams. Enable needed an experienced leader, a Director of Engineering who had helped scale successful SaaS business to further fuel Enable’s growth ambitions.

What did Propel do?

Propel were able to map the talent market of successful SaaS businesses who had followed an similar growth pattern to what Enable were looking to achieve. Propel then identified the key Engineering leaders that led these businesses to the and presented a shortlist of Director level candidates.

The Results

Propel were able to deliver a shortlist of Director level candidates which included those who were proven and experienced Directors and those who had strong leadership experience but would be stepping into a Director position.

The shortlist was so successful, that Enable took two candidates, one as a Director of Engineering and the other as a Head of Architecture.
